Super Spacer

Super Spacer is an optional glass spacer system made of a non-metallic solid silicon foam. Super Spacer has millions of tiny insulating air pockets. Super Spacer wont conduct energy like traditional metal spacers yet can achieve conduction and condensation rates 29% better than metal spacers. Super Spacer is a dual seal system and has flexible strength nearly eliminating stress cracks and seal failures.

The Night Latch Feature (seen below) allows you have a window open for ventilation but stop the window from being raised enough for someone to craw in.

By pulling meeting rails tightly together and by producing a better seal, the Lock and keeper decreases air infiltration. An innovative spring design holds the handle in both the locked and unlocked positions while a concealed locking mechanism protects moving parts from dust and dirt for added lock life.

The Balance, Pivot Shoe, and Pivot bar attaches the sash to the main frame while allowing the sash to be tilted out for easy cleaning. The balance holds the sash where you want it so there is never the need to prop the window open.

The Tilt latches lock the top of the sashes into the main frame of the window. The lower sash has two thumb buttons that pull the latches back so the the sash can be tilted out. The upper sash has two access openings to pull the latches back and allow the upper sash to tilt out.

The Home Guard Locking System proves to be the most attractive, easiest operating, highest performing, best value in casement and awning window locking hardware. Secure, solid detent lets you "feel" when the window is locked. The unique design makes the lock highly pick-resistant. If you have used other casement windows you will appreciate the excellent "reach-out" capability of the lock system.

The folding handle operator offers a smoother, more contemporary, integrated look. This system is uniquely designed to prevent handle collapse during operation.
