EG4 QUALIFIES FOR TAX CREDIT

For those of you who have centered their sales program around Super Spacer we have good news! In conjunction with our glass supplier, we have changed the type of low-e glass used in the Energy Guard 4 glass package. The new EG4 has been tested and certified to meet the 30 / 30 requirement necessary to qualify for the “Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009” tax credit. This addition means that all 4 Home Guard glass packages qualify (EG4, EG10, Con 100, Con 500) in both our Regency and Home Star window lines. The test results are available on the NFRC website.

ENTRY DOOR SWEEPS NOW AVAILABLE IN TWO COLORS

In response to you our customers, we have added an additional color to our entry door sweeps. Doors will now come with either a beige sweep or a brown sweep, dictated by the door color choice. The Home Guard sweep slides on for easy replacement and forms a weather-tight seal to the threshold. The result is a superior seal that keeps the inside in, and the outside out.

THE IMPORTANCE OF PRODUCT INSPECTION PRIOR TO INSTALL

All Home Guard products are video taped at different stages of the production process. This is done for several reasons including our internal verification that the product has been inspected during these stages and is defect free. Please remember to inspect prior to installing any product damage since once installed, Home Guard will not be responsible for any damages reported.
